The Fun Raiser (RECAP)

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MISSED IT.....

Our "Fun Raiser" last night was so much, and we're very thankful for everyone who helped pack Le Petit.  We raised some money and LOTS of cheer (we floated at least one keg and martinis are now an endangered species).  "Uncle" Wayne was so much fun on the pia-nee and the food catered by our parents and Fred Nuccio was a big hit.

Mandi Turner won the FourFront season ticket raffle (so if you want to see our shows next season start kissing up).  The other basket winners were:
Ruckerfest 5000: Eddie Cox
The Kelly Experience: Marshall Harris
Lucas' Loot: Mat Grau
Megan's Mishmash: Carlos Gonzales

And Hunter McGreggor managed to out-bid Lucas on the framed Michaelopoulous (is that how you spell it?) print donated by Betsy and Geoffrey Dobson.  If anyone knows where Hunter is, tell him to pay us and come get his prize.

We also announced as much of our 2009 - 2010 season as we could:

My First Time
directed by Fred Nuccio, starring the Four of us in our first ever appearance together.
August at Le Chat Noir

Pinkilicious
directed by Megan Harms
October at JPAS

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
directed by David Hoover, starring Ricky Graham
November at Le Petit (Muriel's)

TBA
this will be a regional premier of a major musical recently on Broadway.
directed by Gary Rucker
January on Le Petit's Mainstage

TBA
this will be a small musical recently on Broadway.
Spring at Le Chat Noir

November by David Mamet
director in negotiations :)
May at Le Petit (Muriel's)

Other big announcements include:
FourFront is the subject of a featured article in the next OnStage Magazine.  Be on the lookout!
Also, The Altar Boyz are in negotiations to make an appearance at the Big Easy Awards in March.

It's really been a great first season (so far) for us, and we are truly thankful for the unbelievable amount of support everyone has shown us.  Hope everyone has a great New Year, and we'll see you in April for Altar Boyz!

Who likes to rock the party?

Just reminding everyone about our Holiday "Fun Raiser" on the 27th.  I'm copying the link to the stageclick press release (which is a copy of Cuthbert's blog about the party.)

We have some awesome things to raffle off, including tickets to EVERY THEATRE IN TOWN (except Rivertown, who didn't even write us back.  IRONY!!!) as well as some big announcements about next season.

The all-you-can-drink keg is back as well as Schlimmer Shots, plus Uncle Wayne on piano.

Spread the word.  It's going to be a party to remember.  Trust me.

They are the ALTAR BOYZ!!!

Well, after a couple of weeks of auditions, and one of the most grueling call-backs in history (that Leonard Raybon is so good!) we have cast the Altar Boyz.

They are:
William Bryant as Matthew
Brian Falgoust as Mark
P.J. McKinnie as Luke
James St. Juniors as Juan
Keith Claverie as Abraham

I have never had such a tough time casting a show.  There were so many talented guys to choose from, each of whom really 'brought it' to the audition.  We could not be happier with the ensemble we decided on, and I CAN NOT wait to start rehearsals.  I'm really fortunate to have Leonard and Kelly as partners in this.  They are among the best of the best at what they do and they are going to make this show unforgettable.

The hardest part is always not being able to use everyone.  I always feel terrible having to let people know I won't be able to cast them in a show.  This time it particularly breaks my heart.

So get tickets now.  The show's not until April but you are not going to want to miss it.

Welcome to the blog!

Hello everyone!
Welcome to our new blog.  Every month or so we will be posting new information, updates, etc. to keep everyone up to date and in the know.  Just sign up to subscribe and you will be notified when we post something new.

Feel free to leave us comments, feedback, love notes... whatever you want!

A bit of an update -
HISTORY BOYS was a smash.  The houses were incredible and (except for one night of weird sound issues) went off without a hitch.  We were really glad to see so many people turn out to support us and the show.  It means so much to know people believe in you and want you to succeed.  The reviews have also been terrific.  Even Al Shea liked it (even though he took a shot at GUTENBERG!, which I don't think he even saw.  Guess he reads Patrick Shannon's reviews). Your emails have been amazing and supportive, and we sincerely appreciate every one of them.

We are currently casting ALTAR BOYZ and I have to say I had no idea there were so many talented guys in this city.  Do yourselves a favor and get your tickets early.  You do not want to miss this show.  Hopefully we will have a cast in the next few days and I'll be sure to post an update.

Finally (for now) we are working on our shows for next season.  We have secured the rights to one already and we CAN NOT WAIT to tell you what it is.  If we get rights to the other shows on our list, next season will blow your mind.  We are hoping to have a party around Christmas and make the big announcement.  Fingers crossed.

Until next time...
Gary
