ALTAR BOYZ still going strong and our BIG MUSICAL ANNOUNCEMENT
We have to start by thanking Le Petit and the new staff for making Altar Boyz finally come to life the way we always dreamed it could. It really makes us look forward to working with these guys next year. There are still tickets for the run which closes on May 24th (Gary's birthday) so don't miss out.
OK, so the big musical...
As far as Hairspray goes, we learned that the owners of the show are not willing to release the New Orleans market in the near future, as they feel they have not had the opportunity to bring the show here yet. We can't have it, but no one can. The day the rights are released we have been promised a phone call and the option to do the show. So, our never-ending Hairspray saga continues.
The show we are going to do on Le Petit's mainstage is DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. It will run for three weeks in January. We could not be more excited. It's a hilarious show with a lot of great roles. We will keep everyone updated when it's time for auditions for this, as well as Spelling Bee.
In the mean time, COME SEE ALTAR BOYZ!!!

We are looking forward to a successful and exciting partnership with Le Petit, and hope you all will continue to support both FourFront Theatre and Le Petit next season.

We're OnStage!

Not sure if you guys picked up a copy of the new OnStage Magazine, but we were a feature. You can read the article here:
I think that's the link. The name of the article is Passion Play in case you have to search. They didn't use our favorite picture (the one up top), so I've attached it. It was fun shooting in the middle of a freezing fountain early in the morning. The weather was 30-ish degrees outside. We had quite a crowd watching us. This was the 11th or 12th take.
We have started Altar Boyz rehearsal and it's going to be a show like you've never seen. It's not too early to get tickets!
